Each season, Stand Out For Good Inc. chooses a different area to focus our charitable efforts on. From there, each one of our stores chooses a specific 501c3 organization to partner with for Mission Monday. Mission Monday is a weekly initiative where 10% of net proceeds in all stores and online sales go directly to local non-profit organizations across the country. Through this special day, our guests and Altar’d State family take an active role in uplifting the children of their communities and give back in meaningful ways.

Our spring Mission Monday theme is Children’s Health and Wellness. For many, spring brings so much nostalgia for childhood days spent outdoors – but unfortunately, not every child gets this experience. As spring awakens, we hope to turn a new leaf in promoting local nonprofits that create a healthier future for children. This could be through medical care and research, promoting exercise and activity, or teaching children healthy choices. Our stores have chosen some amazing organizations: Girls on The Run, which teaches and empowers young girls through running; Happy Hollow Camp, a camp for underserved children; Little Light House, a tuition-free Developmental Center for children with special needs; and Cure 4 The Kids, a leader in the research and treatment of childhood cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. These are just a few examples -- each store has chosen a nonprofit that's doing incredible things. They can't wait to tell you more about them -- stop by your local store to find out what nonprofit they are supporting this season!

We hope for all children to have a bright spring full of whimsy: enjoying nature, jumping in puddles, collecting flowers, chasing butterflies, and breathing fresh air.
